[I.D.: A digital illustration featuring Deiofe and Freivos in a cartoon-anime style. Deiofe is a bearded, muscular human man with dirty blonde hair past his shoulders. He wears white and black Slavic-inspired clothes. Freivos is a tall, lanky, elf-like woman with wavy ginger hair flowing all the way down her back. She wears a white and cyan Slavic-inspired dress with gold accents. Deiofe, facing away from the viewer, is kneeling before her as he gently holds her waist. Freivos is tenderly smiling at him, her purple eyes faintly glowing. She runs one hand through his hair while holding his black ponytail ribbon in the other. The morning light illuminates her from behind as cyan feathers float around them. The forest in the background is washed out by the light, and can only be faintly seen. At the bottom of the piece, a part of Deiofe’s facial expression is revealed: his green eyes staring up at her in awe. / . End I.D.]
『14.02.2025』 “There Beneath the Trees, Let it Grow”
Happy Valentine’s Day! Here’s a tender moment between Freivos and Deiofe :3c The title is inspired by two songs from The Oh Hellos: “There Beneath” and “Grow”
I really enjoyed every part of making this piece! It’s the illustration I started in December last year that reinvigorated my passion. At least for a year or so, almost every artwork I would make, I’d start off feeling inspired or liking it, but by the end of the process, it would feel lacking or underwhelming in some aspect. For this one, that inspired motivation streak stayed. It’s interesting, as I feel like I incorporated a part of my art style from nearly a decade ago into this piece. Idk, it’s nice and familiar in a way.
