Tryndamere headcanon: In his old tribe, they viewed food as a treasure and a family orientated occasion. Everyone in the household hunts for a meal at least once so the family can sort of “consume” the love of the hunter because they put hard work into the fight so everyone could eat. It didn’t matter if they did well or not, the family would celebrate a first hunt. If they came home with nothing, they would try again the next night. If you were just a friend of the family, it would be a great honor if you were eating at a table with your friends because the meal is so sacred to everyone. Some were known to burst into tears when they found out they were invited over for dinner. If it were a young child’s friend that was able to eat at the table, the child would excitedly tell his parents about his experience the next day. Most parents would then bring gifts to the family that fed their son as it was an honorable thing. Even to this day, if someone Tryndamere hated sat at a table with him to eat, the King could no longer stomach food because of the idea that food is for loving everyone at the table.
Men who just got back from war together, usually ate together as a bonding experience because of the trauma that they faced brought them close to each other during the time they battled. In fact, most of the people outside of your family you invited over for dinner were war partners.
