I wore Fresh Cherry JSK last week to eat hotpot for Yue's birthday (accidental matching red and black colour scheme with Yue & Seamii!), but I didn't take any individual photos, so I rewore some components in a slightly altered coord.
I figured the mostly black polyester would do fine if anything splashed, and everyone had aprons (as any decent hotpot place these days should) so it was all okay 👌
This JSK is maybe a little shorter than what I've been used to wearing lately, but the cut is super cute with its extra halter straps and two-layered skirt, so I'm continually drawn to it ☺️
I really had trouble picking out legwear for my coord(s) since originally I wanted to go with opaque black x red OTKs for warmth, balance, and a slightly more modest look, but the ones I own didn't seem to be working when I tried them on. I opted for these sheer heart OTKs here, which bring together the geometric theme nicely imo, but they do lend more of a pin-up look.
I also attempted to clip red bows to my shoes so I could have some red in the bottom part of my coord, but that didn't really work since you can hardly tell. Oh well!
