Monday: got sandwich from fresh&co. had a dark launch of api on desktop site, some minor issues with statsd and a syntax error

Tuesday: ramen at rai rai ken with some of the ios team. 8/10 stamps on the second card now I think

Wednesday: coworker had meeting; wondered what to get for lunch and remembered that otafuku existed. Decided to get the okonomiyaki+yakisoba combo this time. there was way more yakisoba than I remember there being and dang it was really really good. also realized they have a stampcard, so I got one.

Thursday: cheesteaks from 99 miles from philly. 3/9 marks on the punchcard. subway was kinda slow on the way home today.

Friday: Dos toros for lunch. pre-emptively restarted api nodes just in case. also dang, it's august already

Saturday: was drawing, pen ran out of ink and I was too lazy to go to my desk to get a new one so I took a nap. also watched some starcraft tournament streams. after watching these for a while I realize that there's always like, five different tournaments going on at around the same time, and with the same few casters.

Sunday: went to restaurant for dinner. on the subway ride there, there was a large dog. usually when there's dogs on the subway, they are small dogs that can fit in a bag. this was not such a dog.

I work in a grocery store part-time and near closing the store gets pretty dead. so I decided to sit in the freezer to cool down on a hot summer day. When my manager walks in on me and says “What are you doing?" and I reply with a sharp glance directly into his wondering eyes and say “just chillin." to which he doesn’t reply and just closes the freezer door and leaves early.
