it's rare to see him wear anything too crazy but he did often live in outfit world with his little vests and his leather jackets and his girlfriend's jeans and his crazy patterned shirts and his hats and jewellery etc etc etc . here's my little collection. we've got gay little scarf + leather jacket combo, we got shirt that looks like 1970s art deco wallpaper, and we got that beautiful blue shirt from darkness era

Do you have any advice on how to find out how sacred or taboo a certain mythological story or figure is, especially when it comes to using as inspiration for other stories? I know by now that you can't make a D&D monster or something out of the w******, but what about (for example) the Anaye? You seem like you've spent time thinking about these things and I would like to spend time thinking about them better as well

the bottom line is nothing beats talking to people from the culture. research is well and good but nothing beats the primary source of engaging with real people with real experiences. it isnt a matter of "well youre not X so you can never talk about X culture" cause that's just racism with extra steps.

however i always ask myself "why this? why me?" in the sense that there are a lot of fully open to fuck around with concepts that you can delve into without pause, so if you want to draw from a culture but dont know enough about it to know if its ok, why not try to find a similar concept from something like greek or norse mythology.

in the meanwhile you can see if there's local outreach groups from that culture, events or holiday celebrations that are open to the public, or even just mosey down to your local library and check out the academic stuff there.

You must now add three rooms to your current house/apartment/whatever. They each have to serve one specific purpose (e.g. a library, a guest bedroom, a home theater, etc.) but you have unlimited budget to decorate them however you want. What rooms do you add, what color do you paint the walls, and what furniture style (or any other fun details) do they have?

oh my god, hiiiiiiiii!

hmm 3 more rooms is such a luxury. the first thing that comes to mind is an arts and crafts room. basic but comfortable decor. shelves and containers for my yarns and fabrics. designated areas for sewing, crocheting, and doing arts 💖

room number 2 would be a bedroom! i'm sharing with my sister right now, so it'd be so nice to finally have my own space! the walls would be covered in posters of my favorite films and shows, and also my favorite artworks, and of course my own personal art projects.

room number 3.... hmm i think i'd take that home theater haha. would love for it to come with a popcorn making stand/machine. something to crunch on while i watch my silly little movies and shows without being bothered by other family members 🙈
