A classic sushi roll featuring fresh salmon and creamy avocado, perfect for sushi lovers.
Ingredients: 3 sheets nori seaweed. 1 cup sushi rice, cooked. 1/2 avocado, sliced. 4 oz fresh salmon, thinly sliced. Soy sauce, for dipping. Wasabi, for serving. Pickled ginger, for serving.
Instructions: Put a nori sheet on a sushi mat made of bamboo. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori, making sure there is a 1-inch gap at the top. Lay slices of avocado and salmon across the nori from end to end on the rice. Use the bamboo mat to roll the sushi up tightly, and use a little water to seal the edge. A sharp knife can be used to cut the roll into 6 to 8 pieces. Put it on the plate with pickled ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi.
