My first blog

The following pictures are not just about my weekend, but they go more into the experimenting process of myself getting used to a camera.

This is a picture of my Water Dragon, the first thing that I thought of to take a picture. Her name is Liza, and she is 3 years old. (Yes, she was on the bed).

This is a picture of my favorite spot in the house. The little corner with the lamp on. 

This is Emma, my best friend. I was very enthusiastic about my camera, and she was willing to be photographed. 

This is Rosemary (Rose), my best friend too. She was happy about the new camera just as I was. However, she is shy, so she was trying to hide herself with her hair.

This is my pink rabbit, hanging on my pink backpack. When I was little, I used to hate the color pink, just because I thought that was what girls were forced to like. Now, I am free from that. Now, I love pink.

This is homework I had to do for my Graphic Design class. They are just some sketches that I have to improve. 

This is Emma, again. She was walking to class, and I was heading to work.  I love her grey hair.

This picture was taken on campus, but those are my work shoes. Sometimes I have to run from one place to another, so I don’t have so much time to change.

While walking, I passed by the Bulldog bites to get a breakfast sandwich. 

I cannot take pictures at work, but I took a picture of a bottle of water instead. I work at Vallarta Supermarkets, and this bottle is from there.

Finally, I took a picture of the United States flag that is located on campus. I am from a country called Guatemala, and unfortunately the opportunities that I have here were not available there. I am thankful to be here.

A Picture of my Friend Rosa

Rosa and I had went to a pumpkin patch do just hang out, pick out some pumpkins, and enjoy the carnival. I had not had many chances to photograph night events, so I figured this would be a good chance to get some test shots. I did not take many pictures do to the amount of people at the pumpkin patch. Kids were running around, girls taking selfies, and general hustle and bustle of people walking around limited my shots. But, as I mentioned, this one one my favorite pictures from the evening. Not bad if I do say so myself.
