Marius and Freya: A Wizard and Yet Another Pendragon
Marius had been cooped up by his father for years. In a lot of ways, his being sent to learn under the tutelage of Balthazar had been the greatest thing that happened to him. He had to learn things still, and he had to do a lot of chores, but besides that, he was free to roam and do as he wished. Another bonus was that he was allowed to go to the events at the castle. He and Balthazar had been invited to a dinner with King Arthur and his family. Marius usually hated formal gatherings, but this one would be different. Marius hadn't been to the castle in quite some time. Merlin had all but locked him up when his powers began to develop and he missed out on a lot. He had been rather close to the Pendragon children before he was forced away. Now was his chance to be friends with them again. Particularly Freya, who was his age. He wasn't sure if their friendship would pick back up easily, or if they would go through an awkward period where they had to get used to one another again. However, he thought it best to just smile and hope for the best. He finished getting ready and then he and Balthazar went to the castle. They were ushered into the dining hall and made to take their seats. They rose again when the royal family entered. Then they were allowed to sit and were served. Marius found himself next to Freya and some royal figure he didn't know. He turned and smiled politely. "Hello, Princess Freya. It's been some time." He said cordially.
