You know, dating is a lot less scary than I pictured it. Having spent like 22 years not dating I was unprepared for how much fun it can be. I'm getting to know new people, I'm giving and receiving a lot of attention (which YAY! I love attention!!), I'm getting more confident and most importantly I've learned that it's not that big of a deal. Emotions come easily to me and it used to be devastating when I got turned down, but now I've learned to just let myself be sad for a day or week and then move on to the next person. If the person don't like me, that's on them. All I do is make sure they know how I feel, and the rest is up to them. If they don't wanna hang out, that's fine, I'll survive without them. If they do wanna hang out, awesome! Basically what I'm trying to say is that when it comes to dating, it's really hard in the beginning but it gets so much easier with experience! Just throw yourself out there, get hurt, pick yourself up and move on until you find someone worth sharing your life with for a longer period of time!
