Wow. So, our post showing the banned Frida Mom ad has just been banned from this page as well. It's sad that people are far more accustomed to seeing sex and violence than a postpartum mother. At no point in the video was there any direct nudity. All that could be seen was the same amount of skin you would see on a woman in a bikini. I’ve included a lovely pic of a new mom showing off her hard work in a bikini that reveals far more that the ad really did. Which kind of proves my point that we need to open the discussion on what women actually go through after delivering a baby. Anyway, check out the ad for yourself on youtube, if you like. Frida has excellent products to help new moms through those first wonderful yet difficult days. It is never really addressed in the media; our new moms are kicked out of the hospital, sometimes even before 24 hours have passed, and I know, from my own experience, how ill-equipped I was to deal with the adjustment. It is a shock to the system, that a little education (or mainstream portrayal in the media) could make much easier. New moms wouldn't feel so alone in their recovery if they knew it wasn't just them going through this. #babycharlottemama #babycharlotte #postpartumbody #postpartumrecovery #fridamom #fridababy (at Baby Charlotte) https://www.instagram.com/p/B8eysl5F-B0/?igshid=ftc1si3k353a
