I've got so many thoughts about the Gay Hockey couples.
I do think skip is the only Game Changers couple that could get divorced. 50/50 on it happening.
Troy and Harris are domesticity personified to me. Troy retires a bit early - his knee isn't healing like it used to. And while he loves hockey, it was always something his dad wanted him to do; a way to get his dad's approval and prove he's a Man™. He doesn't care about that now - hasn't for a while - but enjoyed playing and loved the Centaurs.
He and Harris start a podcast for queer hockey, Queer as Puck (I'm not that original), and it eventually snowballs into the largest queer sports podcast. Hollanov show up as guests occasionally. They become big activists for queer, trans, and women in sports. (One of Harris's sisters took over the orchard, but they're both so very involved).
Eric and Kyle stay together but never marry. Eric didn't want to go through that again and Kyle didn't want to go through it at all. They're fully open after a couple years and continue to experiment sexually together and with others for years to come. (Hollanov doesn't get it, but are happy to live and let live)
🌟If the skip divorce happens, they absolutely welcome Kip into their bed and it goes so well.
Fabian blows up internationally. He's crazy famous, similar to Rose levels. Ryan is his bodyguard and lover which fans find endlessly romantic. The increase in fame causes Ryan; Mr. Everyone Wants My Boyfriend But I'm The Only One Who Gets Him, to become insatiable. He can keep his hands off Fabian and they get caught in semi public spaces frequently. New video every six months type shit. It just adds to Fabian's sex appeal and kinda kicks off a positive feedback loop.
Shane and Ilya compete for the rest of their lives. 100000% bonded pair - do NOT separate. They are also attached at the hip (hehe). If you see one, the other isn't far. They do joint ad campaigns, joint interviews, and even do joint colonoscopies to raise awareness after David has a small cancer scare (he's okay, caught early prostate cancer is vvvvv survivable)
They are insufferable. They are codependent. They spend money like they drink water. The camps go international; Canada, US, Mexico, Europe and finally - when they're old, Russia. Ilya gets to go back once when they're in their 80s. They die the same night, in their sleep, wrapped together.
