Figured with Friday the 13th being this weekend I decided to watch a movie from a famous horror series revolving around that.
So yeah if you haven't guessed it already I watched one of the movies from the Friday the 13th franchises this Friday the 13th some days ago which is the 2009 Remake. I know that may not be the best film to start on for someone new to the movie series like me but it was on HBO Max so I figured why not give it a try?
Honestly it's a pretty solid movie in the end. Granted it did have its flaws like certain scenes with Jason not going a bit deeper into his motivations both past and present but to be fair I did watch the theatrical version and I did hear that the Killer Cut version did explore more of it there. Other then that though I do feel like it's one of the better Horror Remakes out there.
