i was playing among us with my friends, as ya do, and they put it on public to get more people to join us. one of the peeps was a blue dude by the name of im new and me being the good lil cyan sheepkid i was offered to let them buddy with me since they were new. only rule was no killing each other. that was honestly the best decision i made lol.

we played and as we said before we stayed buddied up. nobody could kill us, neither of us broke the deal. second or third game i got imposter and i did what you’d expect and DIDN’T kill my buddy. i just followed blu around and faked a few tasks before killing the last person me and the other person needed to win. it was nice because they were too focused on me and blu to actually pay attention to the others.

blu was kinda betrayed until i pointed out i didn’t kill them and it wasn’t like i didn’t kill anyone. blu also was protected from the other imposter who hung around us a few times but didn’t try anything.

next imposter time, blu got imposter with me. it went by very fast. double kill out the gates, fake we didn’t know what happened after self reporting, double kill again and boom win. that was fun.

last imposter game and last game i played before i had to go, i was imposter and once again i followed blu around. blu had scan and since i cleared them without anyone else watching, they focused on that. also one of out other friends joined who was normally blue and it was a good distraction as he voted blu. once again, blu was safe from the other imposter. i honestly would have reported and outed them because dude. thats rude and a bad play. it was kinda funny because i lagged behind slightly, killed someone, and then came back and blu never noticed. it took awhile for anyone to find the body.

before i left, the friend who plays blue rejoined before blu and im new was left as green. as a parting gift, i left my cyan to blu and by the vc that i hadn’t left yet, im pretty sure blu took me up on that offer.

so yeah. i was literally a friendly imposter. buddying up is fun and a good safe guard as long as nobody kills your buddy.

stupid idea for an among us fanfic: the imposter (or one of them) is a chaotic gremlin that doesn't care about killing and just starts messing with everyone. any other imposters involved are not immune to this

The impostor is red. Everyone knows its red. Red is nervous and not at all a good imposter but he´s a good friend.

Everyone pretends to be scared and even fake dying a few times so he can feel validaded.
