Friends Profile Redesign
As I redesigned the users' profile screen, I implemented the same design for the friends profile to keep the UI consistent. I also removed the messaging feature from Bookmark. After the redesign, I realised it was an additional feature that was cluttering the user face and also wasn't as necessary as I thought initially.
After carrying out usability testing and asking the question - Do you think a message option on the profile screen to talk to friends would be useful or would it take away from the app?
The results confirmed I was right in removing it as all five users stated that it wouldn't be beneficial and would only clutter the app. So I focused on only having a share feature where users can share it directly to their most recently used apps.
The option for users to also seamlessly switch between their profile and their friends makes for a positive user experience.
