I just saw your list of WIPs for WIP Folder Game and I was wondering if you could tell me a little more about “The One with the Paediatrician?” The title is giving Friends Vibes and I am so intrigued!🧐

Hi lovely!

It’s my morning right now and we’ve been dealing with some bad weather where I’m at, but man, waking up to this has already made my whole day! Not only did you pick up on the friends reference, but so did @waynes-multiverse (sorry Wayne, you get tagged in this one, and I’ll tell you bout the others separately)

This will have absolutely nothing to do with paediatric’s. No-one will be harmed! Except maybe Dean and his pride

Do you remember the episode where Joey and Phoebe set each other up with dates, and Joey forgets? The One with the Paediatrician is the title 😂 Well, what if Joey calls out Sam’s name instead of Mike’s, but Sam doesn’t answer because he’s not there. And what if you’re Joey’s friend and not Phoebe (actually I plan on doing a reader version and a crossover version if I’m clever enough because I can see young Dean hitting on Phoebe 😁).

So yes. Dean’s in New York and makes the mistake of answering Joey’s call-out in Central Perk. I plan to do this next after my current omegaverse WIP. I hope that soothes the interest ❤️ and thank you for asking!

This is the first chapter of a Friends Crossover I recently thought up. I hope you enjoy the story!

“EDDDDDDS!!! Oh, Eds my love!” Richie’s booming voice rang out as he run up the stairs of the apartment building. You guessed it, he wasn’t the favorite among the other residents. Running like a child who just got back from a trip to the candy trip, Richie burst through the door of the apartment. Eddie was grasping his temples, but the smile was there.

“I’m really surprised that we haven’t been kicked out of this building yet,” Eddie remarked dryly, still giving his husband a kiss.

“Want to know what I bought today?” Richie hunched up his shoulders, holding the bag behind his back. He had this childish smile on his face. 

Eddie tried to peek at the bag, glimpsing the words of the store name. “Knowing you, something dirty.”

“Hey, I am not a dork if I buy comic books! You look at them, too.”

“So, you bought comics?”

“No! It’s way cooler!” Richie turned around, took out what was in the bag, and presented his new cowboy boots in a pose reminiscent of one of those mannequins you’d see in a clothing store. 

It was a pair of brown cowboy boots. Designed with branches of leaves painted on the sides, The buckles were gold. Obviously, they were very new because Eddie could practically see his face in them. Also, that new boot smell. 

“Wow, they’re so smooth!” Eddie noted, feeling the boots.

“I know!” Richie answered in a sing-song voice. He was so proud of them.

“But Rich, why did you get these? You don’t wear cowboy boots.” The only shoe Eddie ever saw Richie wear were sneakers. When he was a kid his shoes were falling apart. It annoyed Eddie which is why he’d wear them. 

Richie went to sit on the couch, taking off his other shoes in the process. “Oh, I couldn’t resist!”

“I see you also couldn’t resist a price that’s way over our heads!” It didn’t take long for Eddie’s face to flush an angry red as he held the receipt in hand. Oh, Richie knew he should have thrown the receipt away. 

“Babe, don’t worry,” Richie started as he walked over to his husband. His feet felt snug in the boots.

“Do you have any idea who you are talking to?! Richie, this is our rent! You went and spent money on cowboy boots when we need to pay rent and other bills right now! I thought I wrote out our expenses. You know we need to talk about purchases first.”

Taking his hands, Richie pulled Eddie close to him, holding his waist. Mellowing in his comforting hug, Eddie’s eyes softened. Richie kissed his head. 

“I’m sorry for not talking to you first. Really, I am, Eds. But look at these! They look fantastic! I don’t think I’ll ever take ‘em off!”

Richie posed again in the boots. Eddie stared at him, smiling. He walked up, rubbing his hands along Richie’s husky shoulders. “You do look sexy,” he whispered, giving him that look Richie knew all too well.

“Yeah?” Richie raised his eyebrow, his hands briskly crawling down Eddie’s belt.

“Think we could look at them more closely in the bedroom?”

“I thought you’d never ask, baby.”

Imagine the last episode of series three collaborating with the last ever episode of Friends.

Okay, do ya’ll remember that Friends episode where Rachel and Phoebe were messing with Chandler and Monica cause they were sneaking around and having the sexy time? (S5E14 for reference)  So I was just imagining....

- Shiro and Keith having sex in what they think is a remote part of the Castle only to get caught by Lance, but before he could make his presence known, Pidge covers his mouth and drags him away to another room

- “SHIRO AND KEITH!”  “Oh my God...” “SHIRO AND KEITH!”  “Lance, it’s fine!”  “BUT THEY’RE DOING IT.”  “I know, I know!”  “YOU KNOW?!”  “Yes, and Hunk knows, just stop screaming!”

- Hunk is relieved that more people know and thinks everything can be out in the open now, so the lies and secrets can finally be over, but Lance suggests they keep it to themselves and have a little fun of their own, and Pidge is on board with his antics...

- Lance starts to flirt with Shiro, who clearly becomes flustered because he isn’t sure what to do with that.  He later tells Keith, and HOO BOY DOES HE GET MAD but obviously he can’t say anything cause they’re keeping their relationship a secret

- Later, when they’re all in a room together, Lance winks at Shiro and says, “See ya, Shiro, I miss you already” in front of Keith and leaves, and Keith finally figures out what’s going on

- “Oh my God, Shiro, he knows about us.”  “What?  Are you serious?” “Yes, he knows, and he’s just trying to freak us out.”  They confront Hunk who had found out on his own and promised not to say anything.  “Well, I didn’t tell them!” he says.  Keith and Shiro look at each other. “Them?!  Who’s them?”  “Oh quiznack....”  They decide to turn the tables around on Lance and Pidge.

- Shiro calls Lance (let’s say they have private communicators, I dunno) with Keith in the room.  “Hi Lance, I’ve been thinking about you all day.” “...huh?” “Well, I mean, I’ve noticed you’ve been flirting with me, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t intrigued.”  “...really?!”  Keith and Shiro snicker at how freaked out he sounds.   “Yeah, of course.  Why don’t you head over to my room tonight and I’ll let you feel my biceps... and maybe more.”  “...I’ll get back to you on that.  Bye.”  Keith and Shiro high five it out; mission accomplished.

- Pidge and Lance figure out that Keith and Shiro are messing with them back, and Lance decides to take Shiro up on his offer, and this whole thing just snowballs into “who is going to break first.”  

- Keith’s hiding in the closet, confident Lance is going to be the first to crack.  Pidge and Hunk are just outside of Shiro’s room, listening to everything.  Shiro and Lance awkwardly begin flirting with each other, neither of them really knowing what to do at this point and are internally panicking.  

- Just as they’re about to kiss, Shiro breaks and backs away. 

Shiro: Okay, okay okay!  You win!

Lance: Ha!

Shiro:  I can’t have sex with you!

Lance: And why not?

Shiro:  Because I’m in love with Keith!

Lance:  Y-You’re what?!

Shiro: That’s right!  I love him.  I. Love.  Him.

- Keith emerges from the closet, never having heard those words before.  There were feelings between them, sure, but love?  Lance is floored.  Hunk and Pidge burst into the room, equally shocked.

- Shiro turns to Keith, wraps him around his waist, smiles down at him.  “I love you, Keith.”  Keith grins, “I love you too, Shiro,” and they share a tender kiss.

Lance:  Aww, I thought you two were just doing it; I didn’t know you were in love!!

But yeah, I thought about this a lot and found it hilarious.  I think I might just write a full crossover fic later. Bahaha.
