Maybe you're not the right person to ask this, but I personally find you the most approachable, so I am going to ask you. Is Latula's anosmia going to be mentioned beyond passing and Kankri talking about it?

The writer for Sov!Latula is @scalematez, who is actually also anosmic! I forwarded this to her over on Discord- here is her response:
“Probably!! She jokes about it herself several times in canon, and with a much longer amount of time for story than the condensed material we get with their canon counterparts, I do plan on working it in where it makes sense. The only tough part is that, well, as smell is (of the five senses) not really focused on as much in fiction (as... how are you gonna portray that, beyond maybe describing it?), it is a bit harder. The difference is subtle compared to like... perhaps being literally blind.
I will say, though, it definitely can't help her anxiety at all. Especially the part where you catch a whiff of something when there is nothing there. Is that smoke? No. It's in your head. You can't smell.”
