“... i remember your game,” that’s a stretch; dolores herself has not watched a game since her beloved’s passing (no no no no!). the faces of tributes fade, and tributes blur together, save for two or three. satomi is one of the few that vaguely ring a bell. she’s heard of the brutality the younger girl displayed to stand where she is today. she has no opinion, no judgment to pass on the other; how can she, when her darling leroy shed rivers of blood to return to her side? (and yet ... oh, her betrothed lays beneath the sea. what good was it for?)
that remark regarding satomi’s game is left cold. dolores drops the subject and stares beyond the girl -- not at her, rather ... through the other’s form. her gaze is glassy and vacant, and beats of silence pass awkwardly before dolores attempts to make any further conversation; “... my name is dolores,” at last, she introduces, before her tongue halts yet again.
