Friends on Friday - Owls
Hello lovelies!
I did one of my friends nails again, this time inspired by a wrapping paper in which had been a present she had gotten me recently:
I don't remember all the polishes I used, there were a lot. I just sort of freehanded everything.
That was fun! I'm holding on to the wrapping paper, because I want to do my own nails like this too, lol!

Friends on Friday: Pretty Pink Wedding Nails
Hello lovelies!
Here is the mani I did for one of my friends, who got married last August! She was so beautiful and I got to contribute, I was so honoured!
She found the perfect pink to go with her sash: Rimmel Funtime Fuchsia. I did frenchies and a floral accent nail with some white and silver polish, a striper and a rhinestone.
As I was doing her nails, her best friend, who also coordinated the wedding, walked in. I could not let her leave without her nails done, of course. I didn't have many supplies on me, but the bride happened to have the perfect red for her dress: Bourjois Rouge Escarpin. So I just added rhinestones:
All these photos were taken by the wedding photographer Fleur Beemster. Thank you so much, Fleur, for giving me the photos!

Pretty Pink Paisley Patterned Paws
Hello lovelies!
Yesterday I did another friend's nails, for the wedding she has attended today. She asked me to do something matching her pink paisley printed dress. So I gave it a go! This is the result:
I used Herome "Helsingborg" for the pink base, Catrice "Browno Mars" for the brownish metal and pink acrylic paint. My tools were a nail art brush and a dotting tool. The pearl studs are from BPS, I reviewed them here.
I hope you had a lovely party and that you could enjoy the mani :)

Friends on Friday: Farewell Manis
Hello lovelies!
Two of my friends returned to their homeland last week and we did farewell manicures :) Both are inspired by manis I have done before. The first one is inspired by this one, but then in blue:
I used a blue from HEMA, white acrylic paint and Essence "Little Miss Sunrise".
The second one is inspired by this one, but then in pink (Catrice "Aretha's R-E-S-P-I-N-K"):
And then I promised to come visit them as soon as possible!

Friends on Friday - Mint Bridals
Hello lovelies!
My friend got married and asked me to do her nails. I was ecstatic! But then I started to get nervous. I mean, if there's any day on which one needs perfect nails, it's one's wedding day! What if I screwed it up?!
The bride was going to wear mint peeptoes, so we decided her nails should all be mint. For that, I used Rimmel "Peppermint". This is the result, and thank goodness, it worked out. That probably made me more happy than her ;)
For the frenchies, I used tip guides from ebay and for the hearts, I mixed a little white and pearly pink.
I'm so happy she liked it :) It was a beautiful, beautiful wedding and I am happy that I could contribute in this small way :)

Friends on Friday - Asymmetric & Awesome
Hello lovelies!
I did my friend's nails a while back:
We agreed on pink with black and silver and I decided on a tape mani :) So after basecoat, I applied 2 coats of Catrice "Pinky and the Brain". Then one coat of Seche, to speed up the drying process. Then I taped of her tips asymmetrically and applied the silver. Then again with Seche and tape and black. To top it off, one more coat of Seche and voilà!
