okokok!! hoping this makes sense im bad at explaining things.
a year before genshins events, baal closed off inazuma and started the ‘vision hunting decree.’ basically everyone got their visions taken and placed in front of the “thousand armed, hundred eyed god statue” somewhere in inazuma. since then, she hasn’t given out any new visions.
she did this because she believed, since visions were gifts from gods therefore divine things, they should be under the sole dominion of divinity. baal is the god of eternity as well as the electro archon and views herself as the most divine and nearest onto heaven. she thinks her reign will be eternal.
even then im a big simp for her n i’m excited for inazuma so we can meet her and (hopefully) see her as a playable character. i also wonder if she’ll go back to giving out visions after the arc as well,, i’d like to see future characters who have just been given an electro vision because baal changed after inazuma arc,,
