Poem Attempt
The taste of ozone, the smell of rain, spikes with my hurried breath
Thunder rumbles in the distance, As though it is hungry
The wind howls with it, Circling like a pack of wolves
Sky blackens to night, As if the sun hides from the beast
Hair stands on end, responding to an unknown enemy
Adrenaline runs through my veins, As fear runs down my spine
Heat and light flash, Pain burns away everything else
