Chapter 5 Summary:
Jennifer had slipped out a little notebook she liked to keep in her pocket for doodles and began to take note of the questions she had. As well as any little detail that stood out to her. The mechanical pencil she held patted her face absentmindedly as she gazed upon an old hung up news article featuring the diner in its heyday.
Unbeknownst in her avid focus, the closed red drapes of Pirate's Cove beside her fluttered a bit from a slight breeze. A tall figure hunched over to take a peek through the slightest sliver between the curtain and the wall at her. Their head tilted with a barely heard mechanical hiss. The light from the small opening was enough to reveal the old red faux fur and long canine acrylic teeth.
