Thursday June 28th, 2012 - Best grad partay ever. Or is it...?
First things first though: farewell to Asahi, who departed for Japan just this Tuesday. Sorry I couldn't be there to send you off, but at least I went to your farewell party on Sunday; thank you for inviting me. ^^
But anywho, I had what I would think is my best grad party ever. Thus far, anywho (my parents have something bigger planned for post-college; Mom suggested something about a hotel, and it being more extravagant the better I do). Of course, it wasn't to my liking to the fullest extent (not everyone I invited turning up being the main thing), but you can't have everything you want, and it was "mas enjoyable" anyway; there was the usual Super Smash Bros. Brawl (though I firmly believe we could be playing other games... ;P), a fortress made of chairs and pillows by Meagan and Melissa, LAN parties (to an extent, anywho) in the adjacent room, the good stuff. However, on the subject of who did show up, I can safely say that the greatest amount of people I've ever had at home was today. And as usual, once everyone was gone, I began to have these sadness feels as I reset the downstairs area back to how it was. And that reminds me how I pretty much cleaned my room for nothing; no one went to my room at all! Well, except for Josh L. who retrieved my laptop for the Internet key and Kiel who went with me to get another Gamecube controller. But hey, I probably should have been a little more vocal about it. ;P
As for gifts, there wasn't much, but I wasn't expecting much at that; I don't ask for gifts at all, unless prompted (though not always). Liz gave me drawings of Vriska, Mewtwo, and Equius respectively, the Mewtwo drawing having a sleeved Promo Mewtwo that came with every Pokémon: The First Movie DVD back in the day. It's been with her for about ten years according to the drawing, so it was way too damn kind of her to just front me the card. Then Melissa gave me a rather charming graduation celebration card with a picture of a cookie on the front, saying "Grad, you deserve a cookie," and on the inside, "Okay, maybe two! Congrats," as well as some writing which said "Thanks for putting up with me for three years =D" I know she was probably being facetious, but she still shouldn't talk like that; I've enjoyed her company after all. ^^
Oh, but that ain't all. Underneath the flap with the writing and whatnot was more text that said "cookie money," and a $20 bill that was covering said text. Gogdamn, these two are WAAAAAAAAY too kind to have given me such gifts; I'm so undeserving, haha. ;_;
