→ What’s going on here!? CQverse is a Discord-based roleplay not unlike the previous roleplay hosted right here!! If you’re familiar with GVRP, you’ll remember we were majorly based as a chat-roleplay, with few opportunities for descriptive roleplay! With our twist, it’s got some cool world-breaking properties! Thanks to the nature of CQ’s comics, interdimensional funness is possible all around, and with only a little bit of chaos, we’re here to bring the fun of every one of CQ’s comics right into one place!
→ .... For clarity, it should be mentioned that only the chatroom is world-breaking! This means that the worlds remain TOTALLY SEPARATED, and aside from cool VR-like holograms, no characters are ever physically present in foreign worlds!! Pretty sick, huh?

→ WHAT IS GLOOMVERSE?
The world of Gloomverse focuses on the presence of magic, driving every culture in their own unique ways. Magic in Gloomverse has very specific laws but with some exceptions or loopholes, but still allows for very unique opportunities!

→ WHAT IS LUCIDIA?
The highest-ranking team are four girls, Pepper, Salt, Cardamom Thyme, and Sage. There are other side characters, though, as well, such as the Reaper/secretary Parsley, Saffron, Chili P. and Vinny - two brothers based on greasers from the 1950s, Nox of course, Error and Fresh, and many more that haven’t even been revealed yet!

→ WHAT IS MORTIFER?
The world of Mortifer is one that is difficult to explain briefly. Mortifer has a heavy focus on demonic characters and crime syndicates, particularly SinTech. Multiple planes and dimensions are present, such as heaven, hell, and earth among others.

→ WHAT IS FRINGE HAPPY?
The world of Fringe Happy takes place in the same world as Mortifer, seemingly 10 to 14 years following the epilogue. Its’ main feature is the small outback town of Asrium(a pun on “asylum”), an interdimensional space where criminals are sent by an inhuman force to atone for their sins, with a particular focus on the town’s high school.

heya, cq !! i know i tell you this a lot, but honestly, you’re really the biggest inspiration to me, and i think you’re genuinely the kindest person i’ve ever really met? especially among artists- you always treat everyone equally well and kind, and i always see you supporting younger artists and people who look up to you, and it’s the most wonderful thing because i surprisingly don’t see that much from “"big”“ or ”“popular”“ artists or authors; you’re such a funny and happy person, and i’ve only really been following you for around a year(with the whole after/errortale craze lmao), but i don’t think i’ve ever grown to like or look up to someone so much, or even want to try to adjust myself to become such a morally upstanding person like you are. and your works, your comics are all filled with so much feeling, and such third-dimensional characters where no one is really the same, and it’s so cool to see everyone in their own little world !! you’re overall such a splendid and creative, as well as a hilarious person, and you’re such a pleasure to be around, ahh..
aha, this is getting to be a rant, oops- long story short, thank you so much for everything, and i spent a few days drawing this for you, i tried to make it as good as i possibly could without ever rushing too much, and i hope you like it! never stop being so fantastic, and i hope you have an absolutely wonderful 2017!! – w/ love, fuzzy~!!
CQ’s Response: Woah. This was so incredibly nice, I have no real good response to say to it. That, and the wonderful BEAUTIFUL submission with a buncha super adorable characters... WAIT IS THAT LUNIS ISLAND, AND FRINGE HAPPY? HIDING IN THAT CORNER? Holy hell. Okay anyway- this is seriously awesome and you even snuck in some of my older unfinished stuff which is just REALLY cool, and the compliments are so nice--
I really do like supporting younger artists and posting submissions or fanart from people of all levels, because heck- they all truly deserve the shoutout. I ADORE everyone that reads my stuff and there is never a day I wake up without feeling serious gratitude for where my life has ended up.
Okay that’s not true, when I got my wisdom teeth out I wasn’t really awake enough for gratitude besides my blanket and like, my box of jello, but my point is, I’m forever grateful and I try my best to give back- through my art, and my streams, and my shout outs and reblogs-
I love this art, and I love everyone else. <3 That is the basic fact. And thank you Fuzzy, your fanart always makes my days.
