I draw comics sometimes

I've been doing art but not posting for some reason?? Sorry yall. Here's some of my recent pieces. Been playing even more with coloring style and flow lines and all that <3

Gideon was drawn first, I used a new pen and played with super thick lineart. For something like Gideon the Ninth I feel the effect worked great!

The Maomao the line art stayed thick and kinda messy, and of course I played with a billion effects and colors. I also downloaded a nice 'dust' brush that made all the glittery dust on the image, and I ADORE it.

Final piece was just some demon girl. I wanted to go with Orange, Green, Purple, but of course I added a million other colors too, because it's me. I actually kind of stunned myself with how this one turned out?? The eyes man, THE EYES. The HAIR! AUGH. I'm SO proud of her <3

Also it reminds me I probably need to work on my facial anatomy more? It feels like she turned out perfect by accident and I want ALL my pieces to look like this!

Today I'm trying to get myself back into making work for myself, not just for cons (Or perhaps not just reading all day lol) so I opened up Clip Studio and just. Started messing with the charcoal pen, the dry ink pen, literally just whatever I wanted to do to draw my OC Vulture, or her real name Clarimonde.

My creative slump has been SUPER bad (As you can tell from my lack of posts on here!) but I'm trying to get myself out of it with no pressure pieces.

Also all the bugs are just cockroaches that I moved around the legs and shortened the body to turn them into something new. Did a bunch of charcoal and color work to make them fit with the piece.

I rarely draw such messy dark images but MAN its very fun and freeing!! I hope yall like it <3

i went to comic con yesterday, so here’s the Sage cosplay that i wore which i made myself <333 no one recognized me except one person but that one person was evidently one of CQ’s friends and took a picture of me for her HEHE hi CQ waves

some thoughts about my cosplay belowww ^_^

this was difficult to pull off but then again this is my second ever cosplay project so i can’t expect it to be perfect ;_;

girl why is your hair two toned with space glitter!!!!!!! its ok because its Sage and i would die for her. anyway hopefully i’ll be able to slowly improve this cosplay since i’m not satisfied with the results yet.

i made and adjusted her shirt myself and bought a purple scarf online and trimmed it to not be so bulky when tied around my waist.

i really need to redo the vest because her iron symbol is so faint!! (i painted it oughhhg) but it was a fun learning experience! also i found some boots at a thrift store and i painted the soles purple.

i used the same wig from my previous Sage cosplay (oh yeah i also cosplayed her initial vulture hippie design i forgot to ever post that LMAO) and added some glitter and star charms to replicate the space stuff in her hair ^_^ i’ll definitely have to redo the wig in it’s entirety but it served its purpose. same with her medallion, i need to actually paint it instead of haphazardly drawing the iron symbol on there LMAOOO

anyway that’s enough rambling from yours truly. hoping to cosplay Clarimonde’s casual look next !!! okay bye bye thank you for reading i love you ♡

I was just playing with posca markers! My girlfriend really got me into them <3 This was done on an 8x8 board canvas. Took a WHILE for sure.

Technically I have 28 chapters written for Book 1, and I'm still ironing out the details for Book 2 (I know what Book 2 is about, but I had to reign in too many ideas to the most important focus for the story).

A reminder that the series is rated Mature for depictions of violence and gore! And if anyone is worried, NO, my series will never contain SA or graphic sexual material. At most, maybe something will be implied, but that is it.

I do also have physical copies of the book that came in, but I've been so busy I haven't had the chance to stock them in my etsy!

Either way, I hope you enjoy it! Honestly it's been my therapy to work on this story. And many of the chapters have accompanying visuals! You think I can give up in drawing even when I write a novel? No way!!

Book 1 of the Vulture is completely finished, and I'm already working on the second novel, but for some reason I've been so shy and hesitant to share it anywhere. Maybe its because its my first novel, compared to comics where I feel pretty solid about my skills?

I know the age rating is high (17+) most specifically for violence, gore and drug use, compared to the stuff people know me for, so I want to make sure to navigate the higher age rating properly and not just expose some of it to younger audiences?

I'd love to hear yalls opinions on how you think the best way I should share it should be.

Also at the very least I'd also love to share the cover of the book. <3 Tried out a new brush in clip studio and DAMN I'm proud of the outcome!

Been working on the visuals for the chapters! I'm currently writing chapter 18, but I want almost every chapter to have a visual attached.

I already have like 7 of the visuals finished, but I wanted to showcase a few of them. And I just finished that visual of the Goddess of Fear last night and I just. Kinda had to show her off lol

I also want to clarify this novel is ABSOLUTELY 17+, horror fantasy, for gore and violence. I figure the more visceral chapters will be linked elsewhere to read, since I don't want anyone younger to stumble on those ones.

Since the novel is a blend of medieval fantasy, and desert terrain, I looked back at the artwork of plague doctors specifically from the 1300s. The main character being a 'vulture' aka, this worlds version of a plague doctor, I wanted to try and emulate the styles of the time period if I could. Or perhaps, if I couldn't emulate the period entirely, I wanted to play with ideas based from it.

This image was the primary inspiration for the visuals of the story for sure.

I suspect I have about 5 or so chapters to go- maybe even downward to like 3-4, depending on how the characters choose to behave in these next few scenes.

Being the last part of the book, and especially with whats happening, this is gonna be a rough one to finish, but I think it's worth it.

After that I figured I'd post it all publicly online, a chapter or two every week, and hopefully do a print run? You know how much I love doing those.

I realized too that the entire novel has been worked on within only 4 and a half months. Not gonna lie. Its SO nice getting through a story this quickly, I just.

Fucking love writing novels so much. This will be the first, but wont be the last.
