Being in a relationship with Olivia Dunham would involve…

Always having to coax (or blackmail) her to bed

She doesn’t sleep well so if you wake up during the night there’s a good chance she’s not there

Pulling her back to bed and holding her until you both drift off again

Olivia waking you up by kissing your nose or cheek

She’s almost always up before you

Not great at making breakfast though

A pot of coffee or maybe some tea is pretty much all you can expect

Maybe some cereal

Usually leftover Chinese takeout or something along those lines

If you want an actual breakfast, you’re going to have to make it

Or like actual food for that matter to be honest

Your apartment always feels like a mess

Case files everywhere

Walter scrutinizing the shit out of you

He’s outright distrustful of you for the longest time

Convinced you’re going to hurt her or lie to her or betray everyone

He’s not subtle about it at all

Astrid tries to apologize for him and says he doesn’t mean it

He insists that he does

It takes a really long time for him to warm up to you

Like a REALLY long time

He’s protective of Olivia

You try not to take it personally

Peter is similarly suspicious at first but he keeps it to himself

He more outwardly friendly despite his reservations

He may or may not look into your background a bit

Just to be sure

Either way, he warms up to you significantly faster than Walter when he sees how much you clearly care about Olivia

You make her happier and he can appreciate that

Charlie is one of the first ones to accept you without immediate suspicion (well, him and Astrid at least)

He likes telling you embarrassing stories about Olivia to tease her over a beer

She’s not really about PDA

If only because of how irritated it makes Walter for the first while

Plus she likes to keep things relatively professional

Usually you can maybe expect a kiss on the cheek if other people are around

Unless something big is going down

If she’s scared even a little bit that she won’t come back, she gives you a proper kiss on the mouth and whispers that she loves you

You never want to let her go in those moments

You fear for her a lot and you hate feeling so helpless

Her life involves a lot of chaos

You’re her rock

You keep her grounded when everything else doesn’t make sense

Being Lincoln Lee’s S/O would involve…

He’s really not around a lot

He’s really busy with his work so he often comes home quite late, if at all

You never really get used to how little he is around

You spend a lot of nights waiting up for him, even though he keeps telling you not to bother

Really, he’s always telling you not to wait up for him

But he still comes home at three in the morning to find you sleeping on the couch with an open book still in your lap or the TV still on

He also tries to tell you not to worry

You never can stop worrying about him either

You’re always fussing over his cuts and bruises

He tries to assure you that it’s all just part of the job

Occupational hazard

You never really believe him

Whenever you see him injured, it just makes your throat tighten up

You hate knowing how easy it is for him to get taken away from you

You hate seeing him hurt

He hates worrying you just as much

The fact that he’s not around a lot makes the days when he is around all the more special

Lots of cuddling and just sitting together

It’s nice to just slow down and spend time with each other

Though he’d never admit it, Lincoln really is a cuddle-monster

He loves the feeling of you in his arms

He’ll press his nose into the back of your neck and just breathe in your scent because it helps to calm him down

On a different note, Lincoln can be such a dork

He’s always trying to make you laugh

You guys will have so many inside jokes

You’ll also be great friends with Olivia and Charlie

They’re always coming around for a beer after work or just to hang out

You guys could stay up all night just talking

Also board games

So many board games

Lots of just staying up late and ignoring the rest of the world

You’ll order take-out and set up a game with the TV going in the background

It’s great

Eventually Charlie and Olivia go home and you and Lincoln are left alone

You’ll basically just go to bed and cuddle

You fall asleep in Lincoln’s arms

He’ll stay awake for awhile longer, just enjoying the feeling of you against him

He loves you so much

You are his rock

You keep him sane and remind him what he’s fighting for

And he’ll do anything to protect you

dmab olive during the cortexiphan trials she insisted on using the olive colored crayon until one of the other kids took it this was the first time her cortexiphan activated she got the nickname olive and it stuck so she chose olivia when she named herself because she was olive and would always be olive

asexual aromantic astrid farnsworth who educates walter on intersectional feminism and he becomes the biggest supporter and they go to demonstrations together she runs a big sj blog and is a super justice warrior of the night like equality batman and broyles is like “hell yeah” because he used to be really into activism when he was younger and had more life space but now he doesn’t so he supports those who do peter and olivia get dragged into everything nina, who is already kind of a feminist icon because she’s basically ceo of massive freaking dynamic, sees them all in this and gets massive dynamic to back their organization and donate tons of money because FEMINISM  and despite all his education, walter still gets the word aromantic wrong, just like astrid’s name so whenever queerness comes up he describes her as “aromatic” and she just shouts “waLTER DID YOU SMELL ME AGAIN?” from the lab and peter makes terrible puns about the whole thing a question comes up about how smart she had to be to get into such a high division job so young or some shit and peter goes ‘of course she did she aced all her tests!’ and olivia just “peter no. no. i thought i had you house trained” peter becomes a total punmeister with walter gleefully egging him on and olivia feeling likes it’s just torture and astrid just thinks the whole thing is amusing and she’s giggling off to the side

Fringe headcanons - Etta Bishop

Like her greatgrandfathers, grandfather and father, Etta was a genius with an IQ over 190. Before the timeline reset in 5.13 Etta’s gift was unnoticed as she didn’t have a normal childhood and the education systems at the time were dysfunctional at best (due to the oppression).

After the reboot, Peter realised his daughter was a child prodigy from early on and did everything he could to help her reach her full potential. Etta won countless awards and scholarships and got her PhD in Physics at the age of 21.

Instead of becoming a young professor and focusing on research she decided to join the Fringe Division and work in the field. She was more often referred to as “Dr. Bishop” as opposed to “Agent Bishop”. During her spare time she enjoyed doing experiments with her father in her granddad’s lab at Harvard.

Etta was conceived while Olivia still had cortexiphan in her system (before she was shot in 4.22 and the cortexiphan was drained after her brain tissue regenerated to repair the damage) thus she became a second generation cortexiphan kid. She possessed telepathic and mentalist abilities.

Like her father, Etta was ambidextrous (although she used her left hand to write mostly) and somehow like her mother’s doppelganger she had excellent marksmanship.
