Oh my god, THANK YOU. Thank you for asking. The sitcom is associated with 2000s-2010s unpopular pop/pop punk songs. Me and Nico had the intro locked and loaded since 2024 which is Saturday by Simple Plan. I'm planning to sketch out every page of the AU before starting for the Intro which means the AU is a pretty long comic series and the intro WILL be fully animated. I like to test the limits
Vox is only an actor! We have Val who is the director (A very chaotic concept) and was also the one who named the sitcom a "Situationship Comedy" instead of a Situational Comedy. The screenwriters are quite literally me and Nico in-universe; Fritteritz and Nicodemus
For the plot, well, we already have an infopost prepared! I'm just making sure we're not missing any character references/backround designs because ohhh boy this AU has so much thought put into it you will not believe the development. The vaguest I can be: Episode 3 but Lucifer comes in and gets caught up on Vox's change of plans. They come up with a sitcom to "document" and make the hotel more popular and likeable, but it all goes into chaos from there. Valentino changing the script and putting things into improv, actors being hotel residents (meaning some cannot act at all), and "Times when actors weren't acting" basically applying to every scene in the sitcom, see; It being called a STATICAPPLE sitcom AU and a "Situationship Comedy". It's quite a mix of silly and conflicting, but two things I can confirm are brutal amounts of Lucifer angst and some StaticSilence :)
