So i went for it and talked to Kerrang; i just got off the phone and it felt like they’re really coming at this from an objective angle and are simply curious to understand the world of fanfics
I was asked about how i got into it, why i do it, what interests me about it, why people gravitate towards and write about things that are usually “unconventional” and to be honest the entire phone call just felt like a very comfortable and friendly discussion about fanfiction with someone who wanted to know more about it
I even mentioned how people were weary about this because they were afraid of fanfic writers being portrayed poorly and she was super sweet about that and understood where people’s fear comes from and that it’s very stigmatized so they’re doing their best to be informative about it
I guess we'll know exactly how it goes once they put the article out!
