Longue Vue sur le Court

After Scarlet in 2014, F/RNO will be David’s second selection at Longue Vue Sur Le Court. Held in Montreal at Maison de la Culture Marie-Uguay, F/RNO will take part of an international short film program consisting of 6 short films.

Times Two

Back in 2014, Scarlet was selected during the first edition of the festival. On Friday, November 27th 2015 at 9PM, F/RNO will be screened during the second edition of Festival Longue Vue Sur Le Court.

Longue Vue sur le Court is an international short film festival, focusing on cutting-edge fiction and animation films. As their name suggest, the festival wants to be the first to identified talent and share it with the world! From the four corners of the planet, the LVSC team selects with demanding criteria cutting-edge works of cinematic art representing the new narrative and aesthetic trends in tomorrow's filmmaking. LVSC is an annual event dedicated to cinema, and to the short film promotion.

LVSC Montreal International Short Film Festival, is organized by Longue vue sur le court a Non-Profit Company every year in November in Montreal, Canada. The festival aims to provide a showcase for high cinematic quality short films by creative film-makers who promote the art of cinema.

Naoussa International Film Festival

World Premiere. F/RNO, officially selected at the Naoussa International Film Festival. From September 25 to September 29, the NIFF is a magical journey to a world full of images, colors, music, vividness, smiles & creativity. Cinematographers from all over the world turn their cameras at Naoussa and invite us all to travel through images at a dreamy trip to the cinema world.

The Naoussa International Film Festival constitutes a unique event. It’s a very pioneering, innovative, youthful, active, vivid and qualitative experience.

For the Naoussa International Film Festival the adoption of digital technology consists an evident strategic choice. A choice which brings it in the front row of progress on the new digital era of cinema and contributes to the formation of its distinguishable character. Thanks to the technological innovations and the willingness of its people the festival embraces all creators, provides a chance to express themselves, supports them, showing particular interest on the creator and his/her work.

Hamilton Film Festival

Canadian Premiere. F/RNO, officially selected at the Hamilton Film Festival. The HFF is the longest running film fest in Hamilton and has become one of the most respected film festivals in the Greater Toronto/Hamilton Area [GTHA]. The screening will take place at the fabulous Factory Media Centre on thursday night, November 6. 

About

The festival show independent films in a theatrical environment. The festival do this for 7 days and then repeat it the following year. Filmmakers and patrons feel immediately welcome and appreciated from the call for submission period until weeks after the festival is over. Being filmmakers themselves, with years of experience in the field, they know what they don’t like, and what they do like so they try to give us more of the latter.

F/RNO - Nominated at Prends Ça Court!

On February 20th, F/RNO was part of 61 short films officially nominated at the 12th edition of Le Gala des Prix Prends Ça Court! The event was held during the 33rd edition of Les Rendez-Vous du Cinéma Québecois at the Montreal Cinematheque.

Double Play at RVCQ

F/RNO (Québec Premiere, starring Rachel Anctil Poirier) and The Boudoir (starring Emilie Dumas) are taking part of the 33rd edition of Les Rendez-Vous du Cinéma Québecois in Montreal. F/RNO will be screened on Saturday, February 21st at 1 PM. The Boudoir will be presented Sunday, February 22nd at 2:35. Both at the Cinémathèque Québecoise. This doubleheader marks David's forth and fifth official selections at the festival. Festival history: Each winter, film enthusiasts and visitors from all over gather at the biggest celebration of Québec cinema in the country. The festival program features hundreds of movies, festive cocktails and a wide variety of events hosted by some of Québec's most talented film directors and actors. The Rendez-vous du Cinéma Québecois was created in 1982 to celebrate the cinematographic production of Quebec, Canada. The goal of the festival is to promote the Cinema of Quebec and its makers in order to support its culture and stimulate its industry. Two editions are offered, one in Montreal and the other one in Quebec City. In Montreal, the event takes place at the Cinémathèque québécoise, the NFB Cinema and Cinéma Beaubien. In Quebec City, the Musée de la civilisation accommodates the festival.

K3 Film Festival

World Premiere. F/RNO, officially selected at the K3 Film Festival in Villach, Austria. The K3 FILM FESTIVAL shows international feature films and documentaries as well as an international short film competition. It also hosts the 3X3 Short Film Award programme. Kunst - Kommerz – Kino, which means art - commerce - cinema.

These terms express the overall approach of K3 to programming its films: Films that are asking the audience to take an active part and are challenging (art), are intermingled with films, that take the audience´s attention on its own (commerce). With this concept we are questioning the audience´s habits and the defining borders of art and commerce.
