Thorin couldn't warm up with the new cellphone. Even though his nephews and his sister assured him it worked exactly the same way as his old one. It didn’t. The display took up as much space as was possible and it was so flat, that Thorin thought it would break if he pushed the display to hard. Typing text messages was the worst he could think off now. He had to slide his way through at least hundred apps to get to the text message menu. And then the work began. Slowly and cautiously he would press the tiny keys that would appear on screen, sometimes hitting two at the same time, or the wrong letter altogether. It was his pride that told him to stop asking Fili or Kili for help. No he would send this message alone, without help. After all this was his quest and he would be in charge to inform the other twelve members.
