(I feel like we are repeating yesterday.....) Amazing Frog! What if, during their races or other shenanigans, Arin gets REALLY hurt. Like more then usual. Like, he falls from a tall building, and he doesn't land correctly or some shit like that. Poor Danny has to deal with Arin. ;( (God. What's with me and angst.)

I turn everything into angst somehow. I made a children’s game about antrhopomorphic animals living in a quiet town into my darkest AU, come on.

So in their own little universe, Danny and Arin would never get hurt. It’s just not possible. But they’re in this weird purgatory where their rules no longer apply so it shouldn’t be long before a stunt gets them really hurt.

And the thing about Arin being hurt is that he wouldn’t admit it. He’d try to stick it out and be “strong” even though he’s just hurting himself more by continuing on. So it’s really stressful for Danny because Arin is so bull-headed and just won’t give in with this “I’m fine” bullshit. So not only is he playing nurse, but now he’s also trying to just keep Arin in his bed for FIVE MINUTES JEEZUS ARIN.

what if while the amazing frog arin and dan are jumping around the start seeing LoC dan in trees/ up cliffs and they start waving at him and shouting hello and stuff - au anon

At first Danny is startled and immediately hides deeper into the branches/mountain. After all, he’s trying not to be found. But all they every shout is “hi!” or “lovely day, isn’t it?” so after a while he starts gingerly waving back and he’s not even sure they can see it when he does, but it’s the only company that he doesn’t feel hassled by (other than the kiddos).

Amazing Grump? - Basic Plot

(Based on Amazing Frog?)

Arin and Danny don’t really understand why most people look concerned and horrified after they crossed over into this new dimension that’s got way more people than they remember. It used to be just them. Nothing but the two of them, some kind of organized recreational court that they’d stumbled upon, and the gentle slapping of their feet against the pavement. It was nice, it was calm. It was everything they’d ever known.

But now, there’s people. People that look surprisingly similar to them, but still people. And they’re doting on the two young boys, trying to understand why they’re covered in scrapes and bruises, where they came from, what they’re trying to do to themselves, why they’re dressed like frogs? But Arin and Danny have no answers for them. They just know that the more air you get, the more satisfied you feel. The more you impress the other one. The more the world makes sense. That’s all they got, jumping, then falling, then jumping again. Sometimes they land too hard or hit something wrong. But they just get up and keep going. It’s fine, it’s fine. Who cares? They just need to jump
