dream is like super short because pdfs are super tiny (hes 5 foot nothing) but he stands really tall and tries to stretch up so he appears more like 5'6" and in prison techno siddles up to him and is like "huh. so they stole your heels" and dream goes "wHAT"
this entire conversation started with "hey how does dream breathe through the mask" and @baka-monarch went "frogs can breathe through their skin" and we spiralled so dream can breathe and drink via his skin
and yes dream is poisonous! hes based on the golden poison frog (most toxic frog!) so he can secrete poison from his skin that he is immune to! the poison is so strong even touching a golden frog is dangerous (angst potential)! it leaves muscles constantly contracting, which means you're paralyzed. can lead to heart failure (this is how it kills you)
traditionally, indigenous peoples in what is now known as colombia used the frog dream is based on for hunting food! exposing the frog to heat (usually fire) makes it exude the poisonous fluid. weapon tips coated in this can remain deadly for longer then two years (prison angst?)
also in captivity all pdfs lose their poison due to their changed diets, so prison could be interesting that way too!
because hes poisonous he cant get hugs easily :( he can jump really far (insert pumpkin toadlet jokes here) and croaks when you surprise him. can hibernate when it gets super cold like frogs do! (yes ik pdfs dont hibernate other then that one species that dream isnt)
hes got frog feet (think the frog armour from TOTK) and weird fingers that he uses to make heart shapes at his friends (soft dream agenda)! he also climbs directly on walls because he can do that
