I just realised if we give Patton Frog specifics, he's also cold blooded!

He's all cuddly and touchy to steal the others body warmth!

And now i can see him and Janus just laying under Janus's basking lamp enjoying it's warmth.

Oh... what if Patton didn't know that's was why he was cold for so long? and only realised it after actually frogging out during POF, maybe he's still feels awkward indulging in the froggy habits of his, but Janus knows how to deal with it better so he's like "you need this and this and this, and possibly this-" and won't let Patton say no.
