moceit this episode was like what if i stole your face so often it was habit, that profound of a violation being habit. what if i knew how to mimic you so perfectly but there were still, always, idiosyncrasies of you i could never get just right. what if i subtly avoided you through being you. what if i feared you and i loved you. and what if you were still the first person to accept me. and you followed me around like a puppy.

and patton says, what if i forgave you for it. as long as you tried to change. and what if im the only person who trusts you, who takes your words too heart. even though you exemplify what i hate most in myself, selfishness, and you rail against what i want to be, a moral beacon. im going to treat you with kindness because you stopped me from making a terrible mistake. im still grateful. thank you.
