Made a frog, his head didn't turn out well💔💔 he looks like a little green man. I made him a jacket and the scarf thing which was supposed to be a tie originally. I accidentally ripped his jacket so later I'll probably try upgrading it slightly.

He's like 5 inches big lolol. He was originally supposed to be bigger and a lot different that whatever this he looks like

I'll probably make mr frog a prettier jacket tmr or today, but gotta make badges first cause I finally have everything I need.

I had to listen to the tiny imaginary home-ec teacher in my brain and okay okay follow the pattern more closely and make the frog at the called-for size and stuff him with polyfil instead of cloth scraps and draw on the facial features before I started embroidering and all that stuff. Those teeny-tiny limbs were hell to turn, I gotta say, but polyfil does make embroidery easier.

An old pair of cargo shorts has become a second JUDGY FROG. They were so old that the rubs in the fabric wore through in a couple of places while I was turning them into frogs' legs, so the new frog got some cool denim patches to keep her together. Her name is now The Hon. Judge Patches. She is honorable and she knows it. Look at that smirk.

Her cool elbows were made from the nice decorative stitching on the back pockets of the cargo shorts. I mean, I can't stitch that neatly.

I know it's technically September but what the hell, Frogust forever.

And, now that I have run out of plastic pellets, my experiments with beanbag frogs are complete! What a ride it has been. I think Fleur is my favorite overall but they all came out pretty cute in their own ways.

So, as threatened, I looked through my remnants and picked out the worst floral fabric I had. I actually narrowed it down to three - there are a lot of dire fabrics out there - but, in the end, Gigantic Hallucinogenic Cabbage Roses won out. It was a close race, let me tell you. I also had 70s Mustard-Yellow Wallpaper and Weird Metallic Gold Bits.

Unfortunately the size of the remnant and the size of the frog made it such that the sheer size and horror of these cabbage roses is not really... visible. Oh, well.

I sewed up his webbing on the machine this time and I like how that turned out. Unfortunately I also used up the last of my beanbag pellets and did not quite have enough, so this last fellow is extra floppy.

I have duly named him KABAJ and he will join the others! As always, he was adapted from this free beanbag frog pattern.
