Hey I was wondering if you had any advice for someone trying to get strated in the commission world? Thank you ☺️
I don’t know if this is good advice so. Beware.???draw a lot, post a lot, post on different websites, start out with things you can do FASTWork your way up to a good price range BUT don’t start too small because working for pennies is never worth it and will BURN you out. start out where you feel comfortable and increase it as neededALWAYS enable tips on paypal’s invoice formALWAYS USE INVOICES!!! and make sure you specify in the product/item description that you are offering an art SERVICE Post fanart of popular things on your main blog, dont hide it, its nothing to be ashamed of and tag it accordingly because you deserve the attentionDon’t take commissions that make you feel uncomfortable, and dont feel like you can’t deny or refund people, it is YOUR business draw things even when commissions are not coming inthere’s no shame in asking friends to share your arti guess thats all i can think of right now
