#Grendel Prime#Gauss Prime#Frohd Bek#Dreamers Recordings#I'm absolutely obsessed with this. I watch this at least twice a day#Gauss is such a funny little guy I love him sm#I love how this is a modern day re-enactment of Gauss and Grendel's Assault on Riddha#Except the roles have been reversed. In Riddha‚ Grendel ate Executor Karishh after Gauss cleared him a path to the city gates#This time‚ Grendel takes out part of the Corpus Directory to give Gauss a clear path to the Chairman of the Corpus Board of Directors#The Corpus Board of Directors being an analogous body to the Seven Executors‚ with Frohd Bek serving as the head of that board#Making him a perfect stand in for Executor Karishh‚ especially given how the Corpus conduct themselves‚ and flaunt their Orokin lineage#Now Frohd Bek may be the Chairman of the board‚ but all known board members are infinitely worse than him#Nef Anyo is the closest modern equivalent to the likes of Executors Ballas and Tuvul (derogatory).#It would have been so much sweeter if it were Nef Anyo running in fear‚ but it makes more sense for it to be Frohd Bek himself#Someone let Darvo know his dad might be dead fr this time#It's so interesting how the personality of Mirage Prime's progenitor warped the Helminth transforming her#How Ballas had an intended design‚ theme‚ and/or ability set for her:#‘‘But you laughed at me. Others writhed & raged in the vice. You? You played the fool. And so it was that you distorted my grand design.’’#‘‘A sanguine trick. A murderous comedy. But no one is laughing anymore‚ except you. The mere vapours of your life shimmering‚ still.’’#Whatever Ballas had planned for Mirage‚ her scintillating personality overpowered what influence he held over the transfiguration#And we've seen this happen with Excalibur Umbra. That keystone— that horrific never-ending memory— warped this Dax into a ''dark'' Excalibu#With Umbra‚ it was intentional. It was a sadistic‚ *petty* punishment dealt to a member of his warrior-slave caste#A caste incapable of defying Orokin command‚ a loyal and esteemed warrior who was only doing the job he was bred to do#In Mirage's case‚ it was unintentional. A byproduct of the progenitor's personality#And Ballas laments as much. And yet‚ here we have Gauss. A Warframe with so much personality that it oozes off them in thermal waves#Yet Ballas applauds this inescapable god despite his goofiness#I wonder if its because Gauss' personality perfectly aligns with the theme Ballas had in mind‚ such that its inextricable from the design#You take away the Harlequin performer persona and Mirage no longer exists. The Warframe Ballas originally planned to make of her now exists#I like to think that the same applies to Gauss#You take away his silliness‚ and you no longer have this Sonic frame. You have some other thermodynamic manipulator
