Yes! Serena absolutely loves chocolate. If she had to pick a favourite, then her palentine’s alt line pretty much sums it up well-- dark chocolate and raspberry! Specifically, dark chocolate between 80% - 90% cocoa content, and raspberries that are on the tarter side of things. She really enjoys how those two flavours work together, especially since Serena is not a fan of overly sweet things. So milk chocolate and white chocolate on their own? She is not much of a fan-- too sweet for her liking. They would need to be balanced out by something.

Serena would like to consider herself someone whose wits are sharp enough, and knowledge of Galarian sufficient enough, for wordplay to not fly over her head-- and for the most part, she is. Ingenious puns, clever quips, why they never fail to amuse the heroine, falling into place with little to no thought. However, the one that appears on a card from Laura confuses the blonde greatly. By all means, it make no sense. The fire of her conviction? That is the only time the young woman has heard fire used in a remotely similar context, yet it does not fit. To voice her confusion would be naught but a crime in the blonde’s eyes, but expressing her gratitude for being thought of is no question-- she must.
And so, she sends back a text-- one thanking her for the little gift, and wishing the other trainer a happy Valentine’s Day.
