Day 2: The meaning behind your name.

Andrea - I was born on November 30, so, yes, I was named after the great Filipino revolutionary, Mr. Andres Bonifacio, who, too, coincidentally (lol), was born on the same date some hundreds of years ago. My mom said it was my uncle's idea, so, some time ago, I asked her what name she really had in mind. Patricia, she said. So, if it wasn't for my tito, my name would have been Patricia. Thank godric, he was there, because I don't like the name Patricia. I mean, I don't know why but it sounds slutty and bitchy and stuff. Wow. And now that I'm actually thinking about it, it even kind of brings a vivid image of a pornstar(?) in my mind (No offense to all the Patricias out there. I'm just really weird and stupid like that.) So, yes, Universe said, "Andrea, it is."

Rio - I don't know the meaning behind this second name. My mom said it was just added by my dad. Maybe because my older brother and sister both have second names and he didn't want me to feel deprived or left out or something? For all we know, it could be the name of some girl he tried to hit on using his magic tricks but got bitchslapped instead or something. Haha. I don't know. Really.

Random, Bullets and Stuff

Seventh day of not leaving the apartment. Sixth day of not talking to you.

The last thing I said to you was "Omg fuck yooou" and I'm starting to feel bad about it. :(

I feel so useless and shit.

I ate peanut butter sandwich for breakfast and for merienda today and also yesterday and the day before that and the day before the day before that.

There are pesky little ants everywhere. People know how I feel about ants.

That dude from Kuwait hasn't replied to my message yet. Erm.

I'm broke. Well, kind of. ;)

I hate it when you're there and you won't talk to me. Then, when you're not around, I'd hate it even more. It makes me think that you're on a date or something.

I wonder how Una's doing. :S

I miss talking to you, Allen.

My brother and my sister are both too busy with their work. I miss them.

Day 1: Something you always think "what if" about.

Meanwhile, after 12752983 hours of eating the peanut butter sandwich...lol sorry na.

Ok. Past Dweller Mode turned ON. 

What if  my mom and dad never broke up? Ever since I have realized how huge the impact of their separation was on our family, I have started to always put the blame on that for almost every heartbreaking and disappointing situations I was in. Of course, that was stupid. 

But, there were nights when I would just feel like a little girl longing for her daddy, wanting to be hugged and kissed. 

Then, there were other nights when I would just contemplate on the what-could-have-beens if my mom and dad were still together. We could have been happier, wealthier. We could have gone to places we have always wanted to go, could have done things we have always wanted to do. 

And, there were even lonelier nights when I would just curse and question why the universe has allowed such things to happen to our family. Why we had to go through a lot. Was growing up without a father not enough? Was it not enough that we still have to taste all of life's bitter waters? But those were my selfish nights. They're gone now.

What if I was what I am now? One of my biggest regrets in life is that I didn't know how to keep Una. Five years ago, I thought I was doing great with my life. But now, as I look back, fuck, I can't even start to imagine how much I would hate myself if I were living with myoldself five years ago. I mean, I was so dumb and ugly inside and out. I just wish I realized it sooner. I definitely didn't want to be marked as the manipulative, insincere traitor with her daddy issues. Ugh. Enough with Una stories for now. Haa.
