I know there have been some ideas floated about mailing The Hour-related items to the BBC, and I thought of Freddie's "Wish you were here Moneypenny xx" postcard. I love the idea of the BBC receiving thousands of those.

WHAT ARE YOUR THEORIES ABOUT THE PICTURES
I have ALL the theories. TOO MANY THEORIES. And I just finished my first cup of coffee so my mind is spinning at light speed over EVERYTHING!!!!
BUT! I have a feeling this is pre-marriage (don't ask me why) and Matthew and Mary are finally getting to enjoy being allowed to just be together, without having to hold anything back. Matthew probably mentioned offhand learning to drive during his time in the military and Mary decided that she wanted to see him drive so she teased him by saying that she thought he was fibbing.
So Matthew agrees to drive her to the village in order to prove her wrong...only to have problems with a few of the changes made to cars in the couple of years since he had driven. He is still a decent driver but Mary can't help but tease him lightly. After pouting for a bit, Matthew looks over at Mary and notices just how happy she looks and all is immediately forgiven. He laughs with her and they precede to spend a wonderful day driving around and chatting about all sorts of things. And maybe there would be a snogging session somewhere along the way.
They would return and be sad at the end of the day but would smile secretly, knowing that soon they would be married and would then have the rest of their lives to experience such bliss over and over.
