A Stitch In Time
I lose myself
In the business
Of their lives
Weaving in and out
Of their comings and goings
Matching my step
To theirs
Fitting my dreams
Into the pockets
Where time and opportunity
Converge.
Looking ahead,
Trying not to forget,
All the while staying present
In each moment
Seems a contradiction of paradoxes
The seams of my life
Are woven into the fabric of theirs
A tangibility to this tapestry of time
