I had intended to restart ONE old game I used to play, and even though I TOLD myself I was just revisiting the story, I got caught up in avatar fever again. But I couldn’t seem to earn enough or get gatcha-lucky enough to get a dress! (And ok, pretty lucky to get a bg, but...) I ended up downloading 3 other games just to use the campaign benefits to get extra gatcha tickets for Fairy Love Tale. I had ridiculous luck with the gatcha for 7Hotties, but I don’t even dig the story. Oh, the irony...

Me, looking at adorable avatar I can’t possibly win or purchase in the amount of time I have since entering the game event: Yes, Gidge. It’s very fetch. Now stop trying to make fetch happen.

We the Girls: Aladdin (& Yazmin)

Since this game has a strong emphasis on which princess’s identity you choose, one can’t really review a suitor without also reviewing their princess as well.

I found Yazmin to be both a pragmatic and romantic MC in the same breath, and was charmed as a result. Aladdin suited her well, being both brave but also a bit self-deprecating. They uplifted each other and that was nice to see.

However, as much as I enjoyed the actual dynamic between the characters, the overall writing of the whole game left me somewhat less than satisfied.

6/10 Would recommend the man more than the game
