I just saw a pro lobotomy post on here saying that it was a "great fix" for mental illness and let me tell you that as someone who is related to someone who got a lobotomy (my great grandma) let me tell you that there is NOTHING positive about having part of your brain fucking removed against your will "for your own good bc hey the crazies don't know what's best for them". It's not good for anyone. On ANY level. And how anyone in 2017 can fucking support this is beyond me. This is honestly probably one of the greatest understatements I have and ever will write but seriously dear god if nothing else understand that it's not ok to fucking tinker with people's brains against there will, even if you think it's what's best for them. Because it fucking isn't. It's the opposite. And the fact that I even have to explain this (again, in 2017!!!) is disgusting.
