"Caty?" Connor drops his phone and rushes over to her, not caring that he probably just cracked the screen on said phone. "It's okay. You're just having a panic attack." He speaks softly to not make her panic even more. "Does anything else hurt?" He sits her down, putting his hands on her shoulders.

connor offered his sister an empathetic smile. most people hated getting iv's put in, so she was far from alone with her sentiment. "i think you'll survive. they should only need to give you another one if this one blows, so just make sure you keep your arm as straight as possible and you should be fine. how are you feeling? did doctor halstead take good care of you?" because if not, connor wouldn't hesitate to have a word with his fellow doctor.

"Stop moving, Caty." Connor huffs at her as he moves to grab the rubbing alcohol. "This might sting a bit, but it's nothing us Rhodes can't handle." He speaks as he smiles a bit at her, well aware he is talking to her like she's a child and not an adult. He grabs some gauze and pours some of the rubbing alcohol on it. He grips her arm a bit tightly, before applying the wet gauze to the wound on her arm.

When he came to work here he was surprised instantly to see that Patrick was here. Seeing an old friend made his heart happy. It had been too long, far too long to be a part from his brother from another mother. But in turn he also found out that another friend of theirs from back when is also here. Trust that Ty is excited, but for now he has to dodge her. Why?

Element of surprise and all of that. He gets some info from Patrick and soon he sees her -- Kelly -- over at the vending machine. Will she even remember him? Sure they spent a lot of years together, but there was plenty of them apart. He went into the military. Basic, tours, going to med school, living in Texas as long as he did and now he's back. Plus he cut his hair, the shoulder length blonde he kept was replaced by something a little neater that he intends on growing out.

Coming up behind her, he puts his hands in his white coat pocket, looking at the top of her head with a grin.

❝ If you want candy, I've got a drawer.❞ he teases, unsure if her reaction will be that she's startled, or if she'll be surprised to see who it is.

But the way he's smiling he hopes she remembers who he is.
