rediscovered this and I’m contractually obligated to share it
I once mentioned that Frost and Clockwork has 16 tracks in my work file; today, in the midst of transferring my music to my new computer, I discovered an instrumental breakdown for said track. I think this is a good look into how I build up my tracks (though I think I’ve gotten better at not creating muddy dissonances).
Everything gets covered up by the strings in the end so I’m not sure why I put so much effort into composing for the other instruments, lol. imo my music sounds better when you pick out and listen to specific groups of 3-4 instruments instead of everything at once.
