The Forced Departure (Crappy Drabble)

The collapse of the Institute had come on suddenly, tearing Kathe’s life out from under her feet in one fell swoop.

But this was the end. The messenger apologized curtly before turning from her, proceeding down the halls to wake the other Summoners and bring them the same news that she had just heard. In several hours, she and a mass of other Summoners from all corners of Valoran were making their final descent down the stairs of the Institute of War, their belongings limited to what they could carry on their backs. Airships were waiting for them, ready to send them back to their various homelands. It was almost too much for Kathe to stand. She hadn’t even been able to say goodbye to her friends...She hadn’t even seen her mentor in several weeks. Did he know about this? Would he return to find the Institute empty? Would he even wonder where she had gone?

She didn’t have time to think on that. She was rushed onto an airship bound back to the very skyport that she had left many months before, and she stared blankly out the window as the Institute fell away beneath her. Her second home...Gone, just like that. She couldn’t think through the entire journey, in a blank state of disbelief.

The sting of the frigid air of the Freljord finally brought her back to her senses, and nearly froze the tears that she didn’t know were falling down her cheeks.

//So this is very poorly written. I just sort of wanted to get it out. Kathe is home now, back in the Freljord, without any idea why the Institute kicked out its Summoners. She'll be an explorer of the Freljord now, hunting for her people, fighting for her people, and discovering places that very few hunters would normally tread.

Long Drabble about the Fall Of The Institute Coming

//Changing up lore, going to be posting a drabble whenever I finish it! It might not be that great but it will explain what happened to Kathe after the Institute shut down and kicked her and her fellow Summoners out. Going to be changing her lore quite a bit. Enjoy! Hey dudes.

Sorry I haven't been active lately. I've moved back up to school and things have gotten very hectic! Once I get into a groove, I'll get back to posting regularly :) I promise! Thanks for your constant support (I've continued to get followers even though I haven't been posting anything. What is wrong with you guys?) and I promise I'll be back soon!

Varus turns his head to look at the woman. A summoner. The facial marking made her stand out rather well. "I suppose you can say that. My skill is only limited by the strength of my summoner." He prided himself on his impeccable aim. His assault was deadly given enough time. "I suppose.. summonings, have been going as planned?"

If it's not, let me know because I'm very very forgetful and stuff. I'll be on mobile today but should have a computer again in about 12 hours.
