The day of Loki's coronation was fast approaching and Thor's mood darkened the nearer it came. He became more vicious in the sparring ring and his tone was sharper.

It was he who should be king. He was better than Loki was. He sent Mjolnir flying too hard at target and it splintered. The other warriors fell silent but didn't dare say anything as Mjolnir flew into his hand and he stormed out the training yard.

Star decided to stay out of the lab today and stay in her music room instead. Her fingers gracefully ran across the keys as she played a classical piece of music. She was too into the music, that she didn't hear someone walk in.

Link laughed as his friend Ilia looked up at him, her hair drenched.

"LINK FARON, YOU PRANKSTER!!!!"

"I prefer the name, "Trickster' and you know it Illi!" Link yelled, winking at her. Well, it was boring in Ordon without the monsters to fight, so the hero passed his time with pranks and tricks.

"LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!"

"Aw, come on Illi! I was trying to have a little fun!"

"Princess Zelda is coming to Ordon in a week, you idiot! There's no time for that!" Ilia yelled, before storming off.

With a pout, Link leaned back on the tree he was perched on, huffing adorably, "I was just trying to have a little fun...."

A man of Thor's size wasn't supposed to sit in the library chairs. It was something he'd long ago learned a spell to fix and more often than not he left them too big for everyone else- sometimes on purpose.

Right now he was balancing a massive book on his knee, bent over it and murmuring. Other library-goers gave him wary looks but he didn't notice, absorbed as he was in his reading.

He had a complicated relationship with books. He liked to move around, to do things, and found it hard sometimes to sit down and read; but once he started reading he would get lost for hours in the world of new spells and precious knowledge. He had a large collection of books in his room, stacked messily on the floor, heavily annotated. The librarian always gave him disapproving, suspicious looks when he came in but he didn't mind hers, they didn't gall at him like the others suspicion did; he knew that hers were only because she'd seen the state of his books (they were in perfect condition apart from his notes).

He'd started making a bit of a game of it, twirling around to assure her he had nothing on him that he could write with under his robes or, if he had a stack of paper with him, promising to set up a ward so she would know if his pen touched her precious books.

She was quite fond of him really; he was eager to learn.

He might not have noticed the looks the others were giving him but he did notice when someone sneered "Seimandr" in tones of utter disgust and spun around.
