[LAX --> HND: 定刻. 手荷物受取所9] (on time. Baggage claim 9)
Todoroki read the sign after he entered the airport, hands in his coat pocket. It was cold outside, but his jacket was open. He used his left half to regulate his temperature so he could wear his coat comfortably. Too many layers meant he would feel too restricted. This was ideal.
He made is way through the crowds to the baggage claim, parking himself near the far curve of the belt. His twin should've just landed about 5 minutes ago, so he had another 15 minutes or so before they were reunited.
Aseto had been away for the past 3 years, transferring into an American high school as a sophomore, since American schools did things differently. He called his brother here and there, but with the time difference and their own social lives not meshing, they didn't talk much. Holidays and birthdays were the only times the Todoroki twins spoke during their time in high school. And honestly, Shoto missed having his brother with him. He missed the shenanigans they would get into. The dumb fucking quirk 'battles' they would have when Endeavor wasn't "training" them. The pranks they would pull in middle school, switching classes, making the teachers think they were crazy when the twins acted like there was one of them when both were in the room, showing off their quirks in duplicate since they had the exact same ones. But that could change now.
Aseto was coming to Japan. He got offered a job at the same hero agency as Shoto. They could catch up, be brothers again.
Unless Aseto changed in America...
He shook off the thought and pulled out his phone, sending a text to his brother.
[Hey. I'm already at baggage claim. Can't wait to see you.]
