A smile rose to his face as he stared into her big eyes. It touched him that she wanted to learn about his favorite - even if she wasn’t fond of it. His smile wasn’t a grin but it was bright nonetheless as he rested a gentle hand on one of her hands. 

He had butterflies in his stomach. 

“Of course I will. It’ll be fun!”

something he could hold    high respects    for. poetry was something of a historical art in his eyes ; from an anthropological point of view, it was like watching how emotions had    changed    alongside language    &&    culture.    humanity    had its own way of expressing itself,    &&    he could get behind all forms of doing so. such a beautiful,    beautiful thing.

He leaned back against the arm of the couch, Mami leaning back against his chest. The blanket was right round them as some random movie played to fill the empty space. She was reading and Jou was taking comfort. 

He buried his face into her hair and gave it a quick kissed before. “You never told me what you want for Christmas.”

mami is feeling bad so she's just gonna hug him, burying her face in his shirt.

Gently wraps his arms around her, burying his face into her hair. Nothing was spoken - he couldn’t - but the comfort meant more than any words.

there’s a long pause. for a while, those golden eyes just    b u r n    into the smaller girl for what felt like an    eternity.    a hand reaches up to tap at his chin thoughtfully ; a bit of a sigh muffled behind the mask. but while he had an appearance of annoyance for only a few moments, soon shoulder begin to    shake,    a palm covering his mouth. 

he’s laughing. almost    hysterically.

he speaks with mask removed from his features, practically bringing a whole new    identity    to his words. porcelain features are reminiscent of    victorian doll ;    with eyes that matched the    serpent    that drags its prey down to the depths of his jowls. a hand takes hold of her face, firmly, but not too much    force    given. his lips take over hers, lingering their slight pressure until teeth would notch her bottom lip, drawing a    thin line of blood    once he withdraws.
