She listened intently, the other’s words punctuated by the breath of howling winds, bringing an icy chill that in pairing with bitter words threatened to freeze over her very soul. Ashe ached, her heart wretching from a bloodless wound, painful yet unseen.
Even though it meant the challenges of clandestine meetings and secret messages, Ashe was still relieved to see Sejuani, despite having to endure the unpleasant cold and snows that shrouded their current encounter.
