A smile curled his lips as she spoke that line, unable to stop the low chuckle that rumbled in his throat. Wordplay was something he thoroughly enjoyed, a way to pass the time. The fact that Sarah was playing with him, well, how could he not want to indulge? “Good thing, if all the ghouls looked like you, I might be out of a job.” He chuckled, unable to stop himself from the comment playing on his job as a monster hunter.

arms were crossed over her chest as a slight grin is seen on her face . it had been some time since she made an attempt at getting her lover to chuckle , and that`s on being busy over the seas . returning during the harrowing felt sort of nice , and being greeted to a man she had feelings for was even nicer . his response managed to get something out of her , but her real reaction is her uncrossing her arms and locking her right arm with his left .

❛ yeah ? are you saying that you become rather weak whenever it comes to me ? ❜ it was rather easy to tell that she`s picking on him for his response , but she is rather curious on that as well . sarah doesn`t want geralt to become weak with her around , and if the spirits from the isle were to ever take the form of her ... she wants him to kill it .

squinting at her lover , sarah did not take adenn as someone who is easily frightened . these haunted houses were supposed to be a fun thing for them to do during the holiday season , and it makes for an excellent date night . had sarah known ahead of time that her boyfriend scares easily then she would`ve prepped him with a horror movie . nothing like getting a person`s blood rushing than having them face the scary monsters .

❛ adenn , you hunt for a living . are you telling me little spooky ghosts get the best of you ? ❜ there`s some slight judgement in the tone of her voice , but she was in disbelief that someone who is known to be a bounty hunter can`t handle the jumpscares . as hunters , that`s what they do best . it`s how they get the first move on their prey and it works every time .

turning her head almost immediately to look at her partner , sarah pointed at herself with a look of confusion . she had never been one to enjoy the taste of pumpkin ; in fact , she found it to be a rather bland taste compared to other stuff . the pumpkin would take away any other flavor and she didn`t like that . now fully facing the other , she walked up towards him to place a hand on his shoulder . it was her gentle way of saying that she needs him to keep his voice down low .

sarah and zed didn`t need unwanted eyes staring at them as they walk the streets , and the last thing they really need is a mob of teenagers telling them that what they said offended them . she`s well aware that the holiday spirits of halloween come in the form of a stupid taste but she won`t say it out loud . her slender arm slowly locks with his , and she`s quick to walk them away to a different vicinity .
